K-pop artist HyunA experienced a health emergency during her set at the Waterbomb Festival in Macau when she lost consciousness mid-performance. The incident occurred as she was performing her 2011 hit song “Bubble Pop.” Her backup dancers quickly assisted her before security personnel carried her off stage.
Fans expressed widespread concern across social media, awaiting updates on her condition. Later, HyunA addressed the situation on Instagram, reassuring supporters that she was recovering well.
“It was a short break between performances, but I wanted to show you my best. Don’t worry about me.”
HyunA has previously revealed that she lives with vasovagal syncope, a condition that causes frequent fainting and emotional exhaustion. Some fans speculated that her sudden collapse might also be linked to her recent 10 kg weight loss achieved through a strict diet plan. However, associates close to the singer affirmed that this episode was consistent with her ongoing health challenges.
