Six people were shot and one man was killed in three separate violent incidents across New York City on Sunday night, according to authorities.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call inside a building between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. Officers found three male victims, including a teenager, who had been wounded by gunfire.
Police reported that all three were transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
About 20 minutes earlier, officers responded to reports of multiple people shot inside a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Street in Whitestone, Queens.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Authorities confirmed that a firearm was recovered at the scene, and detectives continue to investigate.
Officials also confirmed a single, deadly shooting elsewhere in Queens that left one man dead. Details about the victim and potential suspect have not yet been released.
“The investigation remains ongoing,” the NYPD stated.
