Jet2 Announces Launch of Flights and Holidays from London Gatwick

Jet2 has reached a significant milestone by announcing the start of award-winning flights and holidays from London Gatwick. This marks the first major leisure airline launch at London Gatwick since 2020 and establishes Jet2 as the largest new based airline at the airport this century.

As the UK's largest tour operator and third largest airline, Jet2 is expanding to the country’s second largest airport, responding to long-standing demand from customers and independent travel agents in London, Greater London, and the South East of England.

Expansion and Offerings

With this launch, Jet2 extends its presence to 14 UK airport bases, continuing its recent trend of successful airport expansions. This growth provides more holidaymakers and travel agents greater access to Jet2.com flights and ATOL-protected Jet2holidays packages.

To demonstrate strong commitment, Jet2 has released a large summer programme for its inaugural season at London Gatwick. Customers can choose from 29 sunshine destinations for their holidays.

First Flight Information

The first flight from London Gatwick is scheduled for 26th March 2026, departing to Tenerife, aligning perfectly with the Easter holidays.
