Marines Destroy Russian Artillery Systems Shelling Kherson
Over the past four days, the 30th Marine Corps destroyed four Russian artillery systems that had been shelling Kherson.
Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, spokesperson for the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy, reported that between October 7 and 10, Russian forces carried out 38 artillery attacks on settlements within the defense zone of the 30th Marine Corps.
“Unlike the Russian occupiers, we do not position our artillery within urban areas so as not to endanger civilians. Nevertheless, we have the means to counter such terrorist attacks,”
Zavtonov added that Kherson suffers the most from these attacks, as the city is practically “on the frontline.”
