After a record-breaking quarter-final, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will face 26-year-old Valentin Vacherot of Monaco in the Shanghai Masters 2025 semi-finals.
Djokovic defeated Zizou Bergs 6-3, 7-5 in the last-eight round, securing his 80th Masters semi-final appearance in one hour and 50 minutes.
At 38 years and 140 days, Djokovic is now the oldest semi-finalist at an ATP 1000 event, closing in on his second title of the season.
He is just two wins away from his record-extending fifth Shanghai Masters title.
Djokovic previously won the Geneva Open in May and is looking to add another title to his collection.
