While waiting for the pirates to arrive in West Craven next March, consider searching for buried treasure in your local library's studies section.
Begin your search in Barnoldswick, where a collection of watercolours by local artist and author Ken Wilson can be found. Wilson wrote and illustrated the book The Wreck of the Rohilla, which tells the story of a hospital ship that ran aground near Whitby during World War I.
The ship was on a mercy mission to bring back wounded British soldiers from northern France.
The ship had 15 members of Barnoldswick's St John Ambulance Brigade on board, who were serving as Royal Navy sick-bay auxiliaries.
