Ming Q WEI, Professor, Australia

Dr Ming Q WEI is a Professor of Clinical Microbiology, School of Medical Science, and Director, Division for Molecular and Gene Therapies, and also a co-director for Griffith University Infectious Disease Group, Griffith Health Institute, Griffith Health, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia. He has established an excellent track record, with over 80 peer-reviewed publications in international academic Journals as well as book chapters. He has international reputation in the area of gene therapy, especially gene transfer and expression, and gene delivery for cancer gene therapy using microbials as vector. He is on the editorial board of Genetic Vaccine and Therapy, The Open Lung Cancer Journal, and The Open Vet Science Journal; The Open Conference Proceedings Journal; World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pharmacology and Therapeutics; Journal of Carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis. He is an appointed member of National Health and Medical Research Grant Review Panel- Genetics, Elected Secretary and Member of the Executive for the Australasian Gene Therapy Society, 2000- 2008.
