JCBi:Call for paper

Dear Colleague,
I would like to warmly invite you to submit an article to Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics, an open access, peer-reviewed online journal. It is one of the leading journals in the application of  biological and medical information for the development of personalized healthcare, medication and therapies. The journal acts as a forum for the translation of bioinformatics and computational methods into clinical and medical applications, as well as for the advancement of our understanding in molecular and cellular mechanisms of disease.
I hope that you will find the following highly accessed recently published articles of interest:
Xiangdong Wang, Lance Liotta
Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics 2011, 1:1 (20 January 2011)
Christian Baumgartner, Melanie Osl, Michael Netzer, Daniela Baumgartner
Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics 2011, 1:2 (20 January 2011)
In the last year the journal has gone from strength to strength. Both submissions and publications to the journal are increasing, and the ‘Pulmonary Bioinformatics: Mechanism, Biomarkers and Therapies’ thematic series was a great success.  We currently have two further thematic series’ open for submissions; Biomarkers in Human Disease(deadline 31st December) and Cancer Bioinformatics: Bioinformatic Methods, Network Biomarkers and Precision Medicine. All manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission system where we also welcome pre-submission enquiries.
Please take time to browse the journal and don’t forget to register to keep up-to-date with the latest news and published articles.
With all best wishes for 2012,
Xiangdong Wang MD, PhD, Prof
Co Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics
