This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour all who have served and sacrificed in past and current conflicts. We reflect on their contributions to our freedom today and support serving and former members of the Armed Forces community and their families.
Many places of worship around Manchester will observe a two-minute silence. On campus, The Holy Name Church will hold a two-minute silence on 9th November at 11am. Please contact your local place of worship for specific arrangements.
The North West Officer Training Corps, University Representatives, Multifaith Chaplains, university members, and the public will gather in John Owen’s Quad at 10:45am. Attendees are asked to arrive before 10:45am. The two-minute silence will begin promptly at 11am.
