Fengate, together with the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada, Seasons Retirement Communities, and The Hi-Rise Group, has officially begun construction on a new seniors’ residence located at 1105 McCraney Street in Oakville.
“The project represents the first Greater Toronto Area development within the expanding Seasons portfolio,”
The growing Seasons network includes 15 retirement residences in Ontario, eight in Alberta, and two in British Columbia, with more currently planned across Canada. This marks an important step in expanding their housing options for seniors nationwide.
This aging-in-place model integrates multiple levels of care under one roof, allowing residents to remain in the same community as their needs evolve. The project underscores Fengate’s commitment to creating sustainable, high-quality living environments for Canadian seniors.
The official groundbreaking ceremony featured representatives from LiUNA, Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, Hi-Rise Group, SG Constructors, and Oakville’s Mayor Rob Burton, marking the beginning of construction for this significant development.
