British actress Helen Mirren, a three-time Golden Globe winner, will be honored with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award by the Los Angeles-based voting group on January 8, 2026.
Helen Hoehne, President of the Golden Globes, described Mirren as “a force of nature” whose “transcendent performances and commitment to her craft continue to inspire generations of artists and audiences alike.”
Established in 1952, the Cecil B. DeMille Award honors legendary film artists such as Audrey Hepburn, Sidney Poitier, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Redford, and Barbra Streisand.
The DeMille Award will be presented during the new Golden Eve annual primetime special, which celebrates recipients of both the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award.
