Plane Crash near Fort Worth's Hicks Airfield
A twin-engine plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, killing two people and igniting a fire that damaged at least ten semi-trucks.
The Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed the crash, which occurred in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale around 1:30 p.m.

- At least ten tractor trailers were damaged by the crash and caught fire, sparking grass fires that were contained.
- The fire was brought under control in 35 minutes at 2:11 P.M.
- 10 FWFD firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances were dispatched to the location.
Two individuals were pronounced deceased on scene.
