Sacramento has waived Isaac Jones to add Precious Achiuwa to their roster.
The Kings officially signed Achiuwa and waived Jones, as confirmed by a team press release at 4:52 pm.
At 9:17 am, Shams Charania from ESPN reported that the Kings agreed with free agent forward/center Precious Achiuwa on a one-year, minimum-salary deal. To accommodate Achiuwa, Sacramento is expected to waive second-year forward Isaac Jones.
The Kings have been short on frontcourt players following Keegan Murray’s thumb injury last month. Without their starting power forward, the team has used smaller lineups and relied more on rookies Nique Clifford and Dylan Cardwell than anticipated.
