Temporary Road Closure and Bus Service Changes
The complete intersection of Airport Road and Hengrove Way will be closed overnight for three nights from 20:00 to 06:00, Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th November, to allow further carriageway works. This will affect services 37, 74, and M1.
Service 37 Changes
The 37 towards Avonmouth will divert from the bottom of Leinster Avenue and resume the normal route at Hengrove Park in both directions. Unfortunately, bus stops between Inns Court and Paddock Gardens on Bamfield will not be served during this period.
Passengers are advised to use the Hurston Road bus stop on Leinster Avenue or the Hengrove Park bus stop instead.
Service 74 Changes
Service 74 heading towards Hengrove depot will follow its usual route until the junction of Salcombe Road and Airport Road, then divert to Hengrove Depot in both directions. Bus stops at Creswicke Road and Filwood Green Business Park towards Hengrove will be skipped.
Passengers should board or alight at the Bideford Crescent bus stop on Throgmorton Road.
Towards Bradley Stoke, the stops at Filwood Green Business Park, Creswicke Road, and both Airport Road bus stops will not be served.
Passengers are advised to use the Hengrove Depot bus stop or any stops on Throgmorton Road.
Service M1 Changes
Service M1 towards Hengrove Park will serve Novers Lane bus stop as normal, then divert via Hartcliffe Way and Whitchurch Lane in both directions by going around the roundabout.
