Tilak Varma caught brilliantly near the boundary ropes as Shivam Dube claimed the important wicket of Tim David during the third T20I between India and Australia in Hobart on Sunday, November 2.
David scored a rapid 74 runs off just 38 balls at a strike rate of 194.74, including five sixes and eight boundaries. He was dismissed on the last ball of the 13th over during Australia’s innings.
After hitting two sixes earlier in the over, Dube bowled a fuller-length delivery on middle stump. David advanced to loft it, but the shot was flat-batted. Varma reacted swiftly, moving left to complete the catch inches from the boundary at long-off. Dube celebrated the wicket with a double first-pump.
