The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking has introduced significant updates to its bus services starting November 1. These changes include new routes, rationalisations, cancellations of some route segments, and upgrading several routes to air-conditioned buses for enhanced passenger comfort.

New Route Introduced

One of the key new services is route A-101, which connects the World Trade Center and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. This route passes through important locations such as G D Somani Road, President Hotel, Colaba, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, and Madame Cama Road. It will operate six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. The return journey includes stops at Hutatma Chowk, Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, and other prominent landmarks, aiming to boost connectivity in South Mumbai.

Route Restructuring

Several existing routes have been modified to improve service efficiency:
