The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) rebounded on Monday, gaining 44.25 points, or 1.76 percent, to close at 2,547.60 points.
Despite a drop in total turnover, the benchmark index rose, with share prices of 200 companies increasing, while 44 saw their share prices decline.
All 13 trading sub-indices posted gains, contributing to the overall rise in the benchmark index.
