Ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics in February, Canada and Finland have unveiled their team hockey uniforms.
Finland comes into the 2026 Games energized by their gold medal win in Beijing 2022, their first-ever Olympic gold in ice hockey. The team aims to secure another title this year.
Canada, with nine previous Olympic golds in ice hockey, last won in Sochi 2014 and did not medal in 2022.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will be notable as NHL players are allowed to compete for the first time since 2014.
NHL players participated from 1998 to 2014, but the NHL stopped allowing it in 2018 due to the Olympics coinciding with the NHL season.
To accommodate this, the NHL will take a mid-season break during the Olympics, enabling players to represent their countries.
The 2026 Winter Olympics promise exciting hockey action, with Canada's updated jerseys, Finland defending their title, and the highly anticipated return of NHL players to the Olympic ice.
