Patti Smith Performs on The Late Show
On Thursday night, Patti Smith joined Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, where she reflected on the legacy of her landmark album Horses, discussed her new memoir Bread of Angels, and shared stories from her early life and creative journey.
Smith performed "Peaceable Kingdom" from her 2004 album Trampin’, accompanied by longtime collaborator Tony Shanahan.
The visit comes just ahead of her North American tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of Horses. The album was named the 17th greatest of all time by Consequence in 2022, reaffirming its enduring cultural impact.
