Cloud Streaming Arrives on PlayStation Portal
PlayStation Portal now supports streaming select PS5 digital games directly through PlayStation Plus Premium. Since its launch in November 2023, the device has received enhancements such as improved public Wi-Fi support and user experience upgrades.
Cloud Streaming Beta and New Launch
Last year, PlayStation introduced a Cloud Streaming beta that allowed PlayStation Plus Premium members to access select PS5 titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics Catalog via streaming—without connecting to a PS5 console through Remote Play.
On November 5 at 6pm PT / November 6 at 2am GMT, the full Cloud Streaming feature for PS5 games officially launched on the Portal device, bringing significant new functionality for PlayStation Plus Premium members.
