Chicago enjoyed a beautiful fall day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the low to mid-60s—about 5 to 10 degrees above the November 4 average high of 54 degrees.

Tonight's Forecast

Wednesday and Thursday Outlook

Wednesday will be partly cloudy and windy, with highs near the upper 50s. Winds will shift to west-northwest, gusting 30-35 mph. Clouds increase Thursday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s, ahead of rain arriving late Thursday night.

Friday Through Weekend

Friday starts rainy but will gradually dry out. Temperatures remain warm in the low to mid-60s early in the day.

Saturday brings a sharp temperature drop with highs near 50 degrees and scattered rain showers. There is a possibility of rain mixing with snow as cooler air arrives.

Sunday and Monday will be much colder, with highs around 40 on Sunday and the upper 30s on Monday.

"We're looking at more cloudy conditions and maybe some rain later this week," said Emily Wahls, Fox 32 Chief Meteorologist.
