Today will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs near the lower 60s. Winds will be lighter than yesterday but are expected to strengthen later tonight and into Friday.
Weekly Forecast Overview
- Wednesday: Temperatures remain steady in the 50s overnight, warmer than normal for early November.
- Thursday: The third consecutive day with highs around 60 degrees and gusts reaching 30 mph. Dry during the day with increasing clouds by evening.
- Thursday Night–Friday: Rain showers and isolated thunder may move across the region overnight into early Friday morning. Skies will clear later with breezy, mild conditions and highs in the lower 60s.
- Weekend: Another storm system is expected Saturday afternoon, bringing showers and highs in the low 50s. Colder air will arrive Sunday, possibly mixing with leftover moisture.
Snow Speculation
“There is much ballyhoo already about potential snow arriving Sunday or Monday, and here’s what I will say about that: The US model has scaled back its ridiculous snowfall prediction from yesterday.”
Caplan emphasized that while some models hint at snow early next week, significant accumulation currently appears unlikely.
