Esports organizer StarLadder has teamed up with gaming peripherals brand ZOWIE for the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event. As part of the partnership, ZOWIE will serve as the official monitor partner of this Valve-approved tournament.
ZOWIE will supply its XL2586X+ gaming monitors for all three stages of the Major, including the playoffs, ensuring players have consistent, high-quality displays throughout the competition. The brand states that 88% of professional players use its monitors in both online and offline tournaments.
The Budapest Major runs from November 24 to December 14, 2025, featuring the world's top 32 teams vying for a share of the $1.25 million (~£953,937) prize pool and a chance to leave their mark in Counter-Strike history.
This is not the first collaboration between ZOWIE and StarLadder, as they previously partnered for the 2019 Berlin Major. ZOWIE joins Esports Charts as a key partner for the Budapest Major; Esports Charts became the tournament's official analytics partner in July 2025.
The brand has a longstanding presence in Counter-Strike esports, having supported multiple Tier 1 events over the past ten years.
