Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has publicly detailed her former relationship with Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner, alleging threats and sexual harassment during and after their time working together.
Zhou has posted extensively on social media and spoke with the Daily Mail, claiming Renner sent her explicit photos and videos, engaged in drunken outbursts, and threatened to “call ICE” once their relationship ended.
“Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behaviour that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before,” Zhou wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship. I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”
According to Zhou, Renner later entered into written agreements with her production company but subsequently refused to promote their collaborative projects. She asserts he began denying any personal or professional connection.
These accusations add to public discussions about Renner’s conduct in both personal and professional contexts.
Yi Zhou accuses Jeremy Renner of harassment, threats, and professional betrayal, painting a troubling picture of their relationship and fallout.
