American jazz and R&B singer Dianne Reeves will perform at the Esplanade Concert Hall on November 8.
Hailed as “jazz’s greatest living vocalist” by the SFJAZZ Center in California, Dianne Reeves has a career spanning nearly five decades. She has won five Grammy Awards in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category, including for her 2013 album Beautiful Life.
Her versatile repertoire extends beyond jazz to include R&B, blues, gospel, Latin, and pop genres.
The National Endowment for the Arts in the United States named her a Jazz Master, the country’s highest honor for jazz musicians. Reeves has also received honorary doctorates from prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music and The Juilliard School.
This performance is part of Esplanade’s Mosaic Music Series. She will be accompanied by a band featuring:
