Closures, cautions, and delays may impact visitor experiences in parks. Portland Parks & Recreation strives to keep trails open and addresses weather-related issues as resources permit. Please stay safe by respecting all closures.

Trail Issues

Tree Issues
Call 503-823-TREE to report tree emergencies on public roads or City property.
Boardwalk Closure
Starting January 6, 2025, the boardwalk leading to the floating dock will be closed for approximately 3 to 6 months for repairs. For safety, avoid the construction area. Trails around the ponds will remain open.
Upper Macleay Trail Closure
The Upper Macleay Trail between Wildwood near Cornell and Pittock is closed due to a large downed tree and root wad obstructing the path. Please follow closure signs and use the Wildwood Trail as a detour.
Maple Trail Closure
Maple Trail is closed between Firelane 4 and Koenig Trail because of severe storm damage that made the bridge crossing unsafe. Respect the closure and follow the detour.
