BRANTFORD — The Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts will come alive on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, as top multicultural performers take the stage for Fusion Beats 2025. The event is organized by Wilfrid Laurier University’s Hub for Community Solutions, Laurier International Student Support, the City of Brantford, and the Downtown Brantford BIA, with support from Laurier Brantford Grants.
Admission is free, inviting everyone to enjoy an evening of global sounds and movements that celebrate connection and culture. Now in its third year, Fusion Beats attracts hundreds of guests from both the university campus and the wider Brantford community.
“Art, culture and community engagement are key priorities in the City of Brantford’s Inclusive City Strategy,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Fusion Beats is an opportunity for local performers to shine while celebrating the diversity that makes our city so vibrant.”
The event highlights a diverse roster of local and student artists, featuring everything from line dancing to Hindi rap, promising an evening full of rhythm and unity.
“As exciting as it is performing at Fusion Beats, I also look forward to hearing and seeing the other musicians and performers,” said Akhil Prabhu, a Laurier student and self-taught classical guitarist performing Latin and flamenco pieces in his second appearance.
Through music and dance, Fusion Beats 2025 invites everyone to share in the energy, artistry, and cultural richness of Brantford’s community spirit.
Fusion Beats 2025 fuses culture, rhythm, and community spirit into a free, inclusive concert that celebrates Brantford’s diverse artistic identity.
