Provincial police are investigating a deadly crash that took place on Highway 410 in Brampton on Sunday evening.
The collision happened shortly after 6 p.m. A tow truck driver reported that a man had parked his vehicle on the highway shoulder, exited the car, and was then hit by another vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The southbound lanes between Sandalwood Parkway East and Bovaird Drive East were closed for several hours as crews worked to investigate and clear the area.
Traffic lanes reopened just before midnight.
No further information has been released at this time.
