Monmouth (8-1) relied heavily on Nelson's outstanding play. He set career highs with 34 carries, 244 rushing yards, and 306 all-purpose yards, rushing for two touchdowns in a 35-7 CAA victory at Bryant. Nelson’s receptions of 49 and 13 yards set up drives that ended with teammates scoring touchdowns.
