Hayley Williams has launched the full 20-track physical edition of her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, marking her first significant independent release following over two decades with Atlantic Records.
The album, now available globally in stores, includes 20 songs total. Notably, it features two tracks, Good Ol’ Days and Showbiz, making their physical debut. This release concludes one of the most innovative rollouts of Williams’ career.
Initially, in mid-2025, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party was launched unconventionally—not as a traditional album but as 17 surprise singles. Fans enthusiastically engaged by creating their own album sequences and even establishing a website to share tracklists, realizing Williams’ vision of listener-shaped storytelling.
The singles were later compiled into an 18-track digital album including the song Parachute, which has amassed over 130 million streams to date. The current physical edition, with its 20 tracks, represents the definitive form of the album, concluding a chapter in Williams’ career that was linked to a contract signed in her teens.
After more than 20 years under Atlantic Records, Paramore and Hayley Williams went fully independent at the end of 2023.
“Fans embraced the puzzle, sequencing their own album orders and even launching a dedicated site to exchange tracklists, fulfilling Williams’ wish to let listeners shape the narrative.”
Author's summary: Hayley Williams’ physical release of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party cements her transition to independence with a uniquely fan-driven album experience and expanded tracklist.
