November 7 marks an important day for Hayley Williams. Physical copies of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, her third solo album, have been released, featuring two tracks previously unavailable on streaming platforms. Last month, Williams shared “Good Ol’ Days,” and now she has unveiled the song “Showbiz,” produced by co-writer Daniel James.
Williams received four Grammy nominations this year. Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party is nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, and “Parachute” is up for Best Alternative Music Performance. The track “Mirtazapine” earned a nod for Best Rock Performance, while “Glum” is nominated for Best Rock Song.
Williams won her first Grammy in 2015 for Best Rock Song with “Ain’t It Fun.” She added two more awards in 2024 in the categories Best Rock Album for This Is Why and Alternative Music Performance for the title track. So far, she has 11 career Grammy nominations.
Williams has steadily built her career as a solo artist while maintaining her influence as Paramore’s leader. The album and song nominations reflect her continued impact on the alternative and rock genres.
