Mattel has officially revealed the KPop Demon Hunters dolls, available for pre-order starting November 12 through Mattel Creations. However, fans looking forward to these dolls should note a significant wait and cost involved.
The dolls are expected to ship "by October 2026," which means those hoping to give them as Christmas gifts this year will need to settle for an IOU for now. Although the release precedes the upcoming sequel, the wait remains lengthy.
For this initial release, the dolls are sold only as a complete set. You cannot buy individual characters; you must purchase the full three-pack featuring Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. This package, called “What It Sounds Like,” carries a price tag of $150.
The dolls sport outfits closely matching their film appearance, with Rumi’s distinctive demon marks clearly featured. While visually stunning, the high-end design aligns with the premium price and might make them less suitable for active play.
If committing to all three dolls at once is daunting, Mattel plans additional releases in 2026. These future dolls may offer more affordable choices and could include Huntr/x characters in their “How It’s Done” outfits as well as ones that perform the song “Golden.”
“At least they will be out before the recently announced sequel, but whoa, that’s still a long time to wait.”
“Their ‘What It Sounds Like’ outfits look just like in the film, and it’s so cool to see Rumi’s demon marks prominently displayed across her design.”
Mattel’s KPop Demon Hunters dolls offer detailed, collectible figures for fans, but the delayed release and high cost may require patience and commitment from buyers.
