Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa predicting accumulating snow on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Snowfall is expected to begin Sunday morning and continue through Sunday night, with totals ranging from 5 to 15 cm. Snowfall warnings may be issued.

Motorists should prepare for challenging winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather may cause transportation delays. The public is advised to monitor updates on the Current Students weather page.

The university remains open with normal operations. Everyone commuting to and from campus is urged to exercise caution.
