Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement forecasting the first snowfall of the season in Montreal, starting Sunday, November 9.
The snow accumulation is expected to range from 5 to 10 cm, beginning at noon on Sunday and continuing through Monday. There may also be a mix of rain and snow during this period.
“The precipitation could make roads snowy and slippery, making it difficult to get around, especially during rush hour Monday morning.”
Early snow could significantly disrupt morning commutes, calling for caution on the roads.
