Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine humorously claimed that Demi Lovato is likely to relapse despite her past struggles with substance abuse. The “Heart Attack” singer had previously battled addiction, making 6ix9ine’s comments controversial.
During an appearance on Andie Elle’s podcast, 6ix9ine suggested that Lovato would return to drug use. He even joked about sending her drugs as a “gift” to trigger a relapse.
While talking to Elle, 6ix9ine mistakenly implied that Miranda Cosgrove was involved with cocaine before clarifying he meant Lovato. The host reminded him that Lovato has maintained sobriety for a long time.
“She’s gonna relapse. Let’s send her some [censored], make her relapse.”
Lovato experienced a near-fatal overdose in 2018. She openly discussed her addiction challenges in the 2021 documentary series Dancing With the Devil, revealing severe health consequences from her past drug use.
“I had three strokes, I had a heart attack. I suffered brain damage from the strokes, I can’t drive anymore, and I have blind spots in my vision.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s remarks predict Demi Lovato’s relapse and mockingly offer drugs, disregarding her serious history of addiction and recovery efforts.
