Radiant Selects Tennessee for Nuclear Generator Factory

Governor Bill Lee and Radiant officials announced a $280 million investment in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to expand nuclear manufacturing and research.

Radiant is the sixth company to utilize the Nuclear Energy Fund, a $50 million fund approved by the Tennessee General Assembly.

"This machine will be the world’s first one-megawatt portable nuclear generator capable of generating power in remote areas and providing resilient power options for military bases or disaster-relief scenarios."
