Germany to Acquire US Equipment for F127 Frigates
Germany is set to acquire more US equipment for its F127 frigates, including the SPY-6 radar system.
If the foreign military sale request is approved, Germany would be the first country outside the US to acquire this technology, currently used by the US Navy.
The design for the new F127 frigates will be based on the MEKO A-400.
No comment from the US or Germany on the potential acquisition.
