It Prequel Series: Welcome to Derry
The Stephen King universe continues to expand with the upcoming series, It: Welcome to Derry, a horror prequel that explores the terrors caused by Pennywise in Derry, Maine.
Bill Skarsgard will reprise his iconic role, and Andy Muschietti will direct the first few episodes. The series will feature a younger version of Dick Hallorann, a character from The Shining, played by Chris Chalk.
The story takes place 27 years before the events of the first film and novel, and the Losers Club's encounter with Pennywise.
A familiar character is in the It prequel, Welcome to Derry, to face Pennywise.
