Man Arrested for Allegedly Sending Inappropriate Texts to Minors
A 69-year-old man from Juelsburg, Colorado, identified as Franklin Martin, was arrested on Friday, October 10th, for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to minors.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) made the arrest after parents discovered inappropriate text messages on their teen’s phone.
Martin was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on several charges.
- The MCSO believes there may be other victims who have had similar contact with Martin.
Officials are asking anyone who has had contact with Martin or knows someone who has to call the non-emergency dispatch at (970) 242-6707.
The case is currently under investigation.
