Sorority and fraternity life at Ohio University has seen a significant increase in participation, with a record 572 recruits joining this year.
The university's 31 sororities and fraternities have welcomed one of their largest and most diverse groups of new members, thanks to a record-sized freshman class.
"I knew I wanted to rush at OU because my aunt actually rushed at OU,"
said Emerson Anderson-Feils, a freshman studying biology and a new member of Gamma Phi Beta, describing the process as a casual and supportive experience.
