Harcourts and Franchisees Accused of Cartel Conduct
The Commerce Commission has launched civil proceedings against Harcourts and some of its franchisees for alleged cartel activity.
The proceedings were launched against the real estate giant and its franchisees, including Four Seasons Realty 2017, Gold Real Estate Group, and Grenadier Real Estate.
The Commerce Commission alleges cartel activity has been carried out.
The Commission is not looking to challenge the franchise model more broadly.
