Diamonds wrap up South African series with history made

Diamonds Make History in South African Series

The Australian Diamonds completed a clean sweep of their three Test netball series against South Africa, with a 65-42 victory.

Coach Stacey Marinkovich made history by giving three players their international netball debut, including Hannah Mundy, who made her debut in the second quarter.

The move meant Mundy and her mother Shelley O'Donnell are now the first mother-daughter pair to have played for Australia in the Diamonds' 87-year history.

The win stretches the Diamonds' unbeaten streak against the Proteas to 49 matches.

Author's summary: Diamonds complete clean sweep against South Africa.
