Developer Withdraws Data Center Proposal for Varina Site
Wagner Urban Logistics has withdrawn its proposal to construct a one-million square-foot data center off Darbytown Road in Varina, as announced by Varina supervisor Tyrone Nelson on October 13.
The developer's application for a provisional use permit was set to be considered by the Henrico Board of Supervisors. However, the Henrico Planning Commission had recommended that the board deny the application.
No comment was provided by Wagner Urban Logistics on the reason for the withdrawal.
