Seven Killed as IDF Opens Fire After Ceasefire Agreement

Israeli troops have been accused of opening fire and killing Palestinians less than 24 hours after the Gaza ceasefire took effect.

Authorities reported that at least seven people had been killed by Israeli gunfire in two separate incidents on Tuesday morning.

The Israeli military will remain in control of nearly 60 per cent of the besieged Palestinian territory under the first phase of the peace deal brokered by the United States.

This incident comes after Hamas freed 20 living Israeli hostages, while Israel sent more than 30 buses of prisoners back to Gaza.

Authorised summary: Seven killed in Gaza after ceasefire.
