Sixteen-month-old Adelina Mia from Kirksville is competing in the national Baby-2-Baby, Baby of the Year contest.
The fundraiser, organized by the nonprofit Baby 2 Baby, aims to provide children in need with essentials like diapers and clothes.
Adelina's mother, Mariana, shared that Adelina is the youngest of three, with two older twin sisters, and enjoys dancing, snuggling, and playing with them.
The Baby of the Year winner will receive $25,000 and be featured in Variety magazine.
Mariana mentioned that if Adelina wins, the prize money will be used for house repairs, savings accounts for all three girls, and a donation to the Fun Factory Daycare, where Mariana works.
The contest is community-centered, requiring a specific link to vote for each child, and every community vote brings her closer to the "Baby of the Year" title.
