LA County Library is seeking bookmark designs from creative students of various ages, inspired by books, libraries, reading, or any other imaginative concept.
The contest, now in its 46th year, has a submission deadline of Saturday. For inspiration, participants can view last year's winners, chosen from over 10,200 entries.
The selection process involves the L.A. County Board of Supervisors choosing grand prize winners for each of the five districts next spring. The winning designs will be produced into bookmarks and distributed across the 85 libraries in the system.
Attention young artists — your original design could end up in libraries across Los Angeles County
