Accessible Parking Signs
Many people are unaware that accessible parking placards should be removed while driving, as it can result in a ticket in many states.
One reason for this oversight is the difficulty in placing and removing the placard from the rearview mirror.
It was too bad there wasn’t something the sign could stick to.
A solution to this problem is to use Velcro, which can be purchased in rolls or small squares, to attach the placard to the mirror.
- Cut a short piece of Velcro from a roll.
- Attach one side of the Velcro to the placard and the other to the back of the mirror.
This allows the placard to be easily hung from the mirror when needed and stored above the visor while driving.
