Governor Whitmer and House Speaker Collaborate on Job Creation
Governor Whitmer and House Speaker are working together to bring more jobs to the state.
Previously, Governor John Engler introduced the MEGA job creation program. Under Governor Whitmer's leadership, she and the legislature developed the SOAR program.
Currently, House GOP Speaker Hall is collaborating with the governor to eliminate both MEGA and SOAR programs and create a new economic development strategy.
