Nigeria aims to reduce emissions by 47% by 2030, according to the government.
Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, stated this at the 2025 Africa Climate Forum in Abuja.
The goal is clear: to meet and exceed Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, targeting up to 47 per cent emission reduction by 2030 with international support.
