Red Cross Minnesota and Dakotas Region Supports Western Alaska Recovery Efforts

Volunteers from the Red Cross Minnesota and Dakotas Region are traveling to Western Alaska to aid in recovery efforts following devastating floods.

According to the American Red Cross South Dakota, seven team members from the region (MN, ND, & SD) are joining other Red Cross volunteers from across the country.

Their goal is to support those displaced by flooding in finding emergency shelter and providing comfort, care, and hope to impacted communities.

The Red Cross is working with state, tribal, and local governments to address the needs of affected areas as storm waters recede.

Providing comfort, care, and hope to those in need after the disaster.
